Fishin’ Girl Safehouse

At its core, Fishin’ Girl Catch and Release Initiative, Inc., our non-profit, is dedicated to providing a safehouse for survivors of human trafficking, strategically located in Central Florida. Our main objective is to secure a 35-acre property, with 10 acres allocated for development. This will be a place of profound healing and restoration, offering an environment of unparalleled security and tranquility. The facility will be equipped with cutting-edge lighting, sound, and security systems to ensure the utmost safety and peace of mind, all within a beautifully cultivated “farm-friendly” setting. We are committed to offering these women the finest comfort, care, and treatment they so deeply deserve.

We understand that victims are not merely statistics; they are individuals—wives, mothers, daughters, and children—whose lives were tragically stolen from their families and communities. Our mission is to offer them unparalleled safety, comfort, and compassionate care to help them reclaim their lives and rebuild their families. Ultimately, Fishin’ Girl is the voice for women who have lost theirs!

Phase One

Phase One will involve the purchase of up to 35 acres of undeveloped land in a remote, safe, and secure location. This phase will cover all associated costs, including purchase fees, surveys, soil and ground testing, legal and insurance expenses, planning, zoning, and any other preliminary requirements typical in land acquisition. It will also include the initial stages of blueprint development for future infrastructure.

Phase Two

Phase Two will focus on developing 10 of the 35 acres, including land clearing and grading, installation of commercial-grade utilities, drainage systems, wells, septic tanks, and runoff development. A commercial-grade perimeter fence with state-of-the-art security features, such as lighting and a camera system, will surround the 10 acres. This phase will also allow for the creation of a pond (up to 1.3 acres), with surrounding walking trails inside the fenced area and a secure, well-lit deck with sound system capabilities. Additionally, Phase Two will include initial land restructuring and piping work in preparation for the first two buildings.
